OUR PINE RESIN & BEESWAX IS GUARANTEED TO MELT DOWN
Melt the 30 grams of jojoba/grape seed oil blend with the 25 grams of pine resin that is already measured for you.
This will take around 15 minutes or so,
then add the beeswax also pre measured this will take approximately 30 min
Step by Step Instructions for Making Beeswax Wraps
Get a pot fill about half way, add the jojoba / grape seed oil blend and pine resin into a mason jar or glass measuring cup,
wait for it to melt down. Once melted add the beeswax. Take a tooth pick and agitate the beeswax as its melting to help melt faster.
Get your fabric ready and place it on a baking sheet (line with parchment paper optional) ,
place on stove top burner on low heat, just enough heat to keep the wax from hardening while you are brushing it on.
(you can also do this in the oven) I like to do mine on top of the oven so it is closer to my mixture.
As I keep my mixture warm in the double broiler so it does not harden.
(I actually have a plug in electric frying pan that is dedicated to my beeswax wraps)
Now that you are all set brush your mixture onto to you 100% cotton fabric,
it will go threw to both side of the fabric but I always flip mine and brush it as well. That it, wave it in the air and it will harder quickly.
Any left of mixture just keep it in the glass, this is why I like to use a mason jar so I can put the lid on.
TIPS:
-For imperfections of your wraps use a hair dryer to heat up a dab with paper towel
-DO NOT POUR LEFT OVER MIXTURE DOWN THE SINK
-To clean your pan rinse with boiling water and pour into a pail to dump outside
